This year the Radical Queer Semaine art exhibit will take place in the Fresh Paint Gallery. It is a temporary exhibition space that shows street and public art, run by the Under Pressure graffiti festival.
Our artistes talk about what they care about, what makes them angry or sad or happy. What they love, whom they love. What and whom they hate. They expose information, knowledge and experiences that they want to preserve or help rediscover. News and ideas and events that are not otherwise heard, or that are just talked about for a second. Works that are loud or quiet or contemplative or nerdy. Ludicrous art, sexual art, identity art, political art, interactive art, garbage art.
With: Tom de Pékin, Andréanne Martin, Aids Action Now, Benjamin Owens, Camille Saint-André, Certain Days, David Whiteside, D’Agostino, Frank Suerich-Gulick, Ian Bradley-Perrin, Ianna Landry, Jamie Ross, Jessie Ziegler, JJ Levine, Johnny Forever, Julie Cardinal, Karen Boyles, Lauren Osmond, Laurence Laurence Laurence, Conrad, Marie Ashley Nelson, Marie-Maude Polychuk, Marc Beauchamp, Mark Unterberger, Prisoner Correspondence Project, Queers Made This, Rita-Adèle Beaulieu, Troy Davis…
