First part: Presentation, projection and public discussion on the follow up of Projet Épopée (french), that was presented during the 2011 RQS edition. With François Tremblay (co-facilitator of the project), Rézo’s Sex Work Program (http://www.rezosante.org/programme-travailleur-du-sexe.html) and participants of the project.
The Épopée collective was formed following the documentary Hommes à louer (Rodrigue Jean). Since January 2010, the collective has been working on a participative project that has been presented using different spaces and medium such as the web, cinema and galleries. Épopée.me comprise different written stories, filmed and broadcast in collaboration with a group of sex worker from Montreal.
After Épopée the website (http://www.epopee.me), “Épopée -L’État du moment” that was screened in cinemas and at many festivals and “Épopée -L’État des lieux” that was presented at la Cinématèque during Dazibo’s residence its time to assess what has been done and all the unexplored possibilities…
Second part: “Working safely a right for all women”. Screening of short films on sex work (with french subtitles): Every Ho I KNow Say So by Lusty Day / Pye Jabobson, sex worker & swedish activist, of the serie Sex Around the Wolrd / AMMAR: Argentinean sex workers are organized… and surprises…
